Nano titanium dioxide tio2 is a nanometer titanium dioxide and a highly efficient green photocatalyst, which is prepared by special nano modification technology and has high photocatalytic activity, good hydrophilicity, good thermal stability, non-toxicity and no secondary pollution. Under ultraviolet light, the electrons in the valence band are excited to transition to the conduction band. At the same time, holes are generated on the valence band to form an electron (e-)-hole (h+) pair having high activity. Holes with superior oxidizing ability to generate hydroxyl radical (•OH) and the conduction band may generate an oxygen ion radical (•O2-). Both of these free radicals have high activity and strong oxidizing properties. They are highly active species of photocatalytic reaction, which can rapidly degrade formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, ammonia, hydrazine and other harmful gases in the air and various organic pollutants. This product can convert various organic pollutants into CO2 and H2O by photocatalytic reaction.
